Haley Gelb

Jordyn B.
I thought she did very well executing her movement. Her technique was good but I felt she could have given herself a little more of a challenge. The music to her piece was very pleasant, and in ways, inspiring. There wasn't a point in the dance where her choreography or music overpowered the other, I felt that they were very cohesive with one another. The only advice I would give is to put more potential into the dance or give it her all. Overall, though, I really enjoyed watching the piece, for it was very sentimental and touching.

Self- Critique
For my dance I was a little disappointed. I wasn't able to work on it much out of class and I didn't have as much time as the others so it wasn't a great piece; although, it had meaning. The poem itself was a very big inspiration to me because it was about taking a path that others had previously chosen but taking it for my own reasons; therefore, on the journey down the same path, it was a whole different experience and it was my own. My movement went with the words to the poem so I felt a little limited in my movement. I felt my technique was good, but I also could have challenged myself more and really let go to my fullest potential when dancing.
